pictures needed of space between tonneau

and trunk. i bought this car in june so i dont know all the history, i dont think it was ever in an accident as best i can tell. i have looked everywhere. but the tonneau cover does not close right, sometimes the weather stripping gets stuck between the trunk and tonneau but more importanty, the left side (drivers) doesnt sit flush, its like its warped or maybe someone opened the trunk with it open. it just doesnt sit right. if i put pressure on it pressing down it does go down further, its like its sprung or something. also, if someone could take a picture of the gap between the sail panel and tonneatu that would be great. i dont know what the deal is. I will take some pics too.

car: 88 iroc vert.

So I understand you perfectly, could you post pics of what exactly what you want to see (angle and location) and I will then take the exact same pics of mine for you.

Re: pictures needed of space between tonneau

i think i have found the issue, i just gave the tonneau a slight pushe when it was open and it seems to have needed a little bend. on the inside however, where the tonneau meets the sail panel....that big gap seems to be, being caused by some disguuising someone did. the mount that that the rear seat back pin mounts to, is rotten where it meats the frame, on that same mount is where the sail panel screws to. looks like someone drilled new holes in that bracket. i guess i will need to have it cleaned up and welded.
