what color seatbelts in the 88?

 

Looking for some interior pieces. Namely, the header panels that go on the top of the windshield and the front of vert top where the latches are. Also need the little seat belt caps that are on the top of the rear quarters behind the doors, where the front seat belts come out of. Also need the pass. side trim piece that goes in front of the rear quarter trim piece; it's a tall, thin piece that has a curve on the bottom and it goes up against the door sill trim. If that part is grey, I really need it.

How about the windshield pillars and the tonneau release switch from the 88? I'd be interested in those. Also the rear seatbelt cups.

 

Make me a decent offer shipped for this header panel or Ill just toss it on ebay, crack is by the driverside sun visor and is mostly covered by the visor

Sorry; that header panel isn't the one for my car. i don't have the little dome light.

Still need the seat belt trim piees and interior trim pieces i asked about before. any luck on those?

 

looks like the same one to me. You just have to remove the added on dome light. hopefully there isn't a hole there and it is just some double sided tape.

I need front seat belt buckles with red covers. The plastic must be in really nice shape. I also need a rear defrost block off plate and I would consider buying a yellow lettered radio if there is one there. Thanks, Scott.

 

Just a question, why are you parting them, is there serious body damage or rust or something?

 

Well the 91 Camaro has no engine no trans is rough overall and has holes in the floor (bought it for the 145 cluster and fog lights) the guy wanted it gone and was going to turn it in for scrap and I couldnt let him since it was a convertible

The 88 Camaro was complete but overall extremely rough but it drove 170 miles home (only had to stop once to replace the alternator in the rain). I hoped to restore this one with using parts from the 91 to end up getting under the car and it showed in the floors and sub frame to much it sat in a field its last 5 years (so I am keeping many parts, engine, trans, daytona hood and fog lights)

 

Could you please post some clear pictures of both of the tonneau covers and trunk lids. Top and underside pics. I'm interested in one of each if they're rust free and damage free.

Yes, the rear bow gasket is the one on the back rear of the top. It goes between the top and part in post 19.

 

Not sure if any of us will see these parts. I've been waiting since this thread was started for word on a couple parts. What happens? I go to ebay, and there they are. Those exact same header panel trim pics are on an auction.

Funny thing is, I though he was looking for parts requests and such. Guess not.

photos of the tonneau release system and the seat belts (rear lap belts just dirty), front shoulder belts are cut (not sure if this can be fixed) so just lap fronts, driverside female was so broken and destroyed I just threw it out, lmk

I think I have seen the 88 T-cover and trunk (t-cover looks okay, trunk is hard to tell, def don't like the a-m Spoiler) do you have pictures of the 91. Don't need them but if you are close to Franklin Park and the Price is right I would take them.

Sorry i wont just sell that upper plastic on the tonneau covers,

i have a trunk Pull Down for $60 worked great and I have a switch also worked nicely for $5 but the writing is all worn off the switch,

Overall I guess Ill update whats left due to the new interest

I asked you before about the larger under dash, driver's side trim on the 88, or did I? Got the rear top release handle all fixed up and in, like new. Do the top twist release handles(88) have any wiggle to them? Mine does on the driver's side. Not bad, but thinking about future needs...If yours are tight I'd be interested. Also, you still have that 88 rear top/tonneau latch?
