Re: How to?
Lay some towels down on the seats because every convertible leaks when it rains/when you wash it. Other than that, yes wash it like a regular car. Conditioner is always a nice thing to use on the top too.

And while I don't recommend using high-pressure (no idea if you are, just a general comment), if you are, be sure not it get to close. Take your time and let the volume of water clean your car, not the direct blast of pressure. Far better to use a garden hose.
I like to use an absorbent chamois layed gently on the roof to draw out the water. While you don't need to do this, is speeds up the roof's drying time. With that, a little sun and a breeze driving, I can put it down in no time. I won't drive it on days I can't put it down!
Be sure it's totally dry when you put the top down and always store your ride with the top up.
PS; there are many little nooks & cranies on a vert. When done washing, I like to also use the abosrbent chamois in places like under the tonneau cover where the roof's hinges are, under the trunk lid's weatherstripping, etc.
I don't like to leave "standing water" there very long in these often forgotten places.

Re: How to?
I must be lucky my car does not leak on the seats when it rains... I drove it to the TA nats it rained so hard I could not see the car 50' in front of me. I did notice it smelled a little musty the next morning, and I found out that where I stopped was where a Tornado was going overhead, but we survived.
I think a good practice is after washing the car to open the doors wipe off the jams, open the hood, wipe up the water that got under there, and the trunk and tonneau, etc...
