might be selling my 91' Camaro z28 convertible in the upcoming weeks,

got a offer the other day to trade my 89 mr2 sc for a 91 mr2 turbo .. so if it all goes threw then i might be selling the camaro .. the 89 is really rare and was race built by a proffesional drifter here in atlanta, but he wants it back and ive had it for a year and still havent finished it, dumped too much money into it, and i need a daily driver that is reliable, fun to drive, and fairly fast ..

even though the 91 convertible is all of that and some .. im going to have to pass it on .. there are just too many things to fix on the car, and most parts arent available since they were only a few verts' made ..


its been in a accident in the past .. has 130K original miles, brand new motor with the stuff listed below .. got about $3500 in the motor, digital guages, shifter, shocks, etc .. but i only paid $1500 for the car with a fairly new top / tires (still got some on the rears .. lol ) ..


got a offer for $6K from one of my friends the other day ..

yall think i should take that when i come to sell it, or is it worth a little more ..

dont kill me too much with the "why dont you want a 3rd gen" stuff b/c im in high school and need a car that i dont have to fix everyday since i graduate in 2 months and plan on getting a job straight away (go to college in the mornings and the teacher has a couple people wanting me to work for them)

and i need a little better gas mileage, and have a slight problem with wanting a turbo car ..


if anyone else wants it, send me a pm and we'll work something out since i have a slight feeling my friend might kill himself with this car, or get put in jail for speeding, or kill someone else and total the car ..

i thought that was a pretty good sum of money for the car .. probably could get more if it was in better condition, but heck i still clear by a grand ..

yea, im having second thoughts ..

but im going to look at a 91 mr2 turbo sunday, so ill see if i really want to sell it then ..

found out yesterday that i got $5000 in the motor, digital dash, shocks, bushings, and short throw shifter ..

so i shouldnt have much trouble selling it for $6500, i see stock auto convertibles on ebay for $6000 +

neways, just gotta clear $6500 and ill be good, if my friend can get the money from his mom (lol) .. then he can buy tires for it every other day, and get $800 speeding tickets .. ahhahha. ..

ill let yall know what happens ..

if the mr2 turbo isnt to attractive, then ill just keep the camaro and finish it up
