Update Pictures...
Here are a few update pics on the body work we are doing on the vert.
Should be in the primer stage by next week, and hopefully paint in another month. We are doing all the work including paint in my garage..hehe.
Amongst the mods:
-Shaved Emblems. Filling in all Emblem holes (GFX/NOSE/BUMBER)
-Using a a 91-92 Front spoiler because it has a more aggressive rake. We will be filling in the sides of the GFX to make it look like a PRE 91.
Possible mods:
-Extending the rear spoiler about 2 inches.
-Creating real louvers on the hood.

That is going to look really cool with the shaved emblems. Are you not going to put the door decals back on though? And I do have one question about the front clip. You know the '91/'92 gfx stick out a little more than the IROC style where the air scoops are. Are you going to shave them down a little bit so the front clip sits flush like the rest of the gfx?

Hi Guys,
In regards to the 91/92 spoiler, we will just fill in the sides where the air holes are. The spoiler doesn't really stick out from the sides.
For the door handles, I didn't want to get to crazy and shave them off. This project is already too involved the way it is being that this is the first time I have ever done body work/paint.
We'll see how she turns out!

Re: Update Pictures...
Hmmm maybe the front spoiler doesn't stick out as far as the side skirts from a '91/'92. Because I know that my fiance's IROC's side skirts are almost straight up and down. The side skirts on my convertible skirt outwards at the bottom.

Re: Update Pictures...
cant wait to see the front spoiler filled in. Im with blu, might not look right without the rest of the 91-92 kit. they do stick out a bit farther.
like putting a pre 91 rear bumper on a 91-92. the rear caps dont match because of the fatter ground effects on the 91+
the 90 and older cars have more of a sharp line to the ground effects, the 91-92 are more rounded.
still cant wait to see. the hood sounds cool too.
