It's crazy how much these ads are played up and not really as good as they seem.

Last ad I saw said 'so the least I will take for the car is $1100'

It's a 305 car, it was blue metalic flake. The previous owner told me to F off when I offered him $4k for it because like all vert owners he knew it's true worth was more. (It was listed at 7K at the time)
4 months later it was still for sale on craigslist for $4300.
Now some **** car dealer has it and it's been repainted black over the blue.
Guy lied to my face and told me it had an lt1 and it's still for sale on his lot for $6k all this time later.

91redragtops old car. Actually a nice car and above it all true.

He sold it to his brother for 5K with a bad bearing 406.
Engine was fixed and now his brother thinks it's worth 14K because some scam craigslist company called him and offered to sell it for him. And by sell it, he just lists it on craigslist and they take some of the money if he sells it. Not to bright, but then they have him believing it's worth 14k.
Still for sale after all this time


this car epitomizes the convertible owners on here and in real life who think their car is gold and get pissy when someone offers them true market value for them.
The ad orginally read Don't call unless you have $4000 cash firm!
My how times have changed. Each week it came down and the ad swore he wouldn't take less, yet now he's down to $2895 for a base bird with busted gfx and the car still isn't sold.
Reminds me of all the vert cars that are in our own classified section unsold for months.

As paul harvy would stay...and now you know the rest of the story.
