Re: New to the scene. a few questions

Am I missing something here or have I just never seen the spoiler extensions on the doors of the verts before?

Gorgeous car!
Black/charcoal grey interiors are nice, but I also like the yours. I agree with galletti above. That colour combo on your ride simply works really well. Very sharp.

As for the seat stains, I'd try a good carpet cleaner. Some sort of good soap/water combo. Work it in to the seat. Let it sit for a while (15-20min), but not so long that it dries. Then scrub it out and dry with clean rags/towels. Maybe try a wet/dry shop vac to suck out the dirty soap/water. Repeat a few times if needed. Try to do the final application with just water to try to remove any remaining soap residue.
Good luck.

For more and probably better answers (), try searching or posting the question in this message board's interior section.

Very nice. I told you to be patient and you would find your car. Keep asking questions. This website is a gold mine.

22's DO NOT look good on these cars. 20's are a little big but OK. The problem with the aftermarket IROC wheels is they are only available in chrome and part of the great looks of your car is the color scheme which includes the gold trimmed wheels. If there's a way to de-chrome and paint them... Otherwise, I'd suggest to stick with the factory ones. They really look good.

Re: New to the scene. a few questions

I know you don't want to hear this but your car looks good with the rims and seats you got. Believe it or not GM really got it right with these cars. The double line IROC rims are some of the most sought after and are more valuable than some aftermarket 22 Chrome IROC fakes. Plus I doubt your car will ride the same as with the 16's. Cornering and handling are the fun parts of these cars and big rims take away from that. Invest that money into fresh suspension, exhaust system parts. You wont regret it. I will buy the double line gold 16s from, you should you decide to swap them.

As far as the interior the deep red / beechwood interior is a great combo. It might even be kinda rare. Everyone including me have black or grey interiors in their thirdgens. Why not have something different, a head turner?

In the end its your car so have fun with it but I think you have a very classic setup that I would not mess with. I am more of a stock guy in a lot of instances and this would be one of those instances.

I agree. I prefer stock cars and your color combination is rare and very attractive. Nice find~!

Very nice...you got a nice set there...I would not change a thing on the inside...or the rims...spend money under the hood and under the body of the vert.

In this thread is a car with the blk/grey interior and red paint....https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/cama...peed-iroc.html

Re: New to the scene. a few questions

for people that think the rs model is a plain jane ...you should look better at both cars the rs is a clean ride with no stickers on the side,it does have less power than the z28 but strip some decals and they look the same also there not alot of third gen to choose from in convertibles to be picky...so tired of some people ragging on our rs models.....all thirdgen are bad ***........
