My 1991 Bird Vert

I have had this car for a month now and the ideas are running through my head to modify it. I dont know if I should keep it stock or start to do a swap. I bought this from a college kid who took great care of it for only $1800. I put about $700 in brakes all the way around, and a good tune up. I think in 10 years the car would be more desireable if its stock. I was lucky to fine a 91 bird at the junkyard the same color and took the front bumper, fenders, headlights, cup holders, and front GFX off it. So what do you guys think I should do? I still have factory Rims too, but one is pretty beat up.

Looks good, but whats the deal with the Iroc wheels on it?

I'd find some gold GTA wheels and go that route.... at least you'd have pontiac rims on it then! LOL

Good luck with it!

Re: My 1991 Bird Vert

These are all I could find locally. I have the orig. rims for it, but need to get one replaced. I might do that and then sell these. I worked on it today and noticed there are a few very minor gasket leaks. I am going to have to get those fixed, but I'm still wondering if I should go with a 350 or rebuild the stock v6 with a few performance parts.

all the power and the fuel mileage too!

Re: My 1991 Bird Vert

I like to keep things original. Plus, if you keep it for the long run that is where the value is at. Collectors want originality. But if you want a swap go for it.

Re: My 1991 Bird Vert

Sorry but, I don't think a V6 will ever be a collectible no matter how original. Then again, you never know what one particular person will want.
