Screw type front top latch
How common are these. None of my other 4 tops have this type of latch, but these were in a 92 Camaro today so I grabbed them. They screw down tight instead of sliding under the front like most.
Wonder if they are interchangeable with the other style or if they are worth anything because I don't really need them.

My early 88 has them my 90 dosent.
I think the early verts 87-88 have them and the other years have the latch type.

Weird this was definitely a 92 which means to work the part at the top of the windshield would have had to be changed from the other style.
Didn't know how easy that was too do.
It did have the full wood grain interior too with the companies name real small at the bottom right of the dash who added the woodgrain. Savana something I think?
Don't know if the two are related.
Did score the complete plastic cover that the sunvisors bolt through.

I am pretty sure they were only used for 87 and early 88 then it switched to the newer style. they can be used on other years but you need the old style receiver on the header post but they are worth keeping around if you ever find anyone restoring an 87 I guess they could breal not real likely but possible.

Who knows top was definitely not a 92 top assembly either so they switched out the whole thing if they did.
Pulled the plastic sun visor panel and weather stripping and the metal pieces at the top of the windshield were riveted so I guess they did a complete factory style job if they did.
Oh well after 18 years things certainly can be changed.
In to the box of vert parts it goes.
