Front Bow Trim Panel
Has anyone installed the #1 Bow Front Trim Panel that Hawk's is now selling? My top's front trim panel is broken around the screw holes and I'm thinking of replacing it. I was wondering about the quality.

Re: Front Bow Trim Panel
I bought one, havent installed it yet. Looks like the same quality as the original ( cheap ) you do have to drill your own holes though. I think because the convertible tops were hand built the holes are not always in the same place. Im thinking about using black finish washers to keep the new part from cracking due to stress. LMK if you have a better idea

Thanks for the info. I'm surprised there are no mounting holes drilled.
Please let me know how your installation goes.

Is there a link where I can get more photos of your car? Mine is a white vert too and I've been contemplating adding heritage stripes. Yours looks HOT and can help me make up my mind

There are a few photos of my car in my album. Double click on the photo to the left and you can access my photo album. The red stripes really look good on the vert. I had the stripes painted on last year when I repainted the hood. I had planned to use a stripe decal set that I ordered by ended up painting them on instead,

I have one of Hawks, I am pleased with it and it looks way better than the original cracked one I had.

Re: Front Bow Trim Panel
Thanks for the response. Mine is also cracked at the mounting holes and hangs down a little on the sides.
I think I'm going to order one when I complete upgrading my front brakes to LS1 caliper and rotors. One project at a time...
