Trying to get this done before the dream cruise tomorrow, so prompt advice will be appreciated!

Alright, so I'm working on a project with my vert...I removed the vinyl wrapped fiberglass trim piece that's on the tonneau, and now I'm trying to decide how to reattach it. I don't want it to fly off when I'm driving down the highway with the top down, but I don't want it to be too difficult to remove. I'm going to have to remove it eventually when I get the car painted, and it will need to be re-wrapped eventually. Also, I already weakened it quite a bit from this project.

Any advice? What I've read online said 3M 8115 is best, but I'm afraid it will be to strong.


On a side note, what would be best to get the vinyl to adhere to the fiberglass? 3M 8090 was recommended to me...

 

the few ppl that I know of used some 3m epoxy... now sure which one though...
lemmie know when you find out (I'm wrapping mine with carbon fiber).

 

That's gonna look sick! Wish I thought of that...I hate stealing ideas...

 

i didn't realize that is fiberglass.im glad because mine needs repairing.
