Spare Tire Can

Does anybody know where I can buy a spare can that fills the spare tire? Or anything that is close to it that will work?

Thanks

Re: Spare Tire Can

I'd pass on the can, and get a $10 12v cig lighter compressor from WalMart and tuck it in the spare tire area.

IF there are any cans left, doubt they'd work, and you'd be stranded anyway. Might find one in JY, ebay, etc. to have for "looks", but I'd get a compressor to carry for real world use.

Re: Spare Tire Can

Unfortunately, I had to use mine due to an interaction with a cinderblock in the left lane on I285 around Atlanta! I have tried for years to find someone to fill the "refillable" cylinder. I've tried commercial gas companies, model shops, GM dealers, even paint ball ranges. No one supports this size fitting that I have been able to find.

I did exactly what "CAMARONEWBIE" said. I bought a small 12V inflator and threw it in the trunk with the spare. If I am going to a show, I will put the original cylinder back in the car (empty). It takes a little longer to completely inflate the space saver spare but it does the job.

Good ideas.

Also found this

But it has a sealant, so I don't know if it will ruin the spare.

Re: Spare Tire Can

Why not just get a used "donut" spare instead?
I still have the original spare and full inflator can unused from new.
I just got me a used donut and put the original goods in the garage.
