Re: 1989 Firebird convertible spoiler
that is not for an 89 firebird. it could be for a 91-92 firebird, or it could be for camaro.
89 firebird spoiler won't have a cutout for a light in the middle.

Re: 1989 Firebird convertible spoiler
The 87-89 Firebird spoiler was a base Firebird spoiler wing that the ends were cut off of by ASC. The center brake light was under the spoiler, but it was a unique housing to conceal the notch for the Camaro brake light

Re: 1989 Firebird convertible spoiler
The ASC decklid is more a custom conversion part, as you guys active may know, My car sold to a member here, the two spoiler end fillers, painted black to match the spoiler paint, had fallen loose and came out, luckily retrieved when cleaning the car versus driving it, but they were stored inside on my sink cupboard until I had to move, then they were thought to be put with the car or stored, now it appears they were thought to be worthless garbage I hung unto, as my family helped me pack and move in a timely manner. As such, the ASC parts replication maybe required, is anyone going to reproduce these needed convertible parts? I always thought they should. The decklid had a small indent and wiring hole sealed off, IIRC, used for that brake light, sitting lower then the spoiler so the spoiler had no such indent in it's shape

Re: 1989 Firebird convertible spoiler
The Deck lid should be the same as the Camaro...
The new owner might be better off to get a set off of a later Firebird IE 91-92 or a Camaro and install that instead as the fender caps from 86-89 Firebird might be next to impossible to find...
If you could find someone that could make them, they would need an original set to make them from, which could end up ruining the original set during the die setup... Maybe, maybe not. But to set up for something that there was only 600 made, at least 25% gone at this point, probably closer to 50% remaining, leaves about 300- 400 cars that they would be applicable...
Bruce Hawkins has had a few of these in his yard over time, you might want to contact him ASAP to get the pieces you need... No doubt not cheap.
Good luck
