trunk opener

I just got done reading a leangthy post on installing an auto trunk. I have a 91 Camaro RS. It had a pull down motor with a metal frame that has long since quit and I jumpered out the tannaue reliece switch. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get an automatic trunk opener to work and where I get all the parts?

Re: trunk opener

You just need to add a solenoid hatch release in place of the manual hatch release. Then run wiring forward to a switch & relay to a fused power source. I have the solenoid release available on my web site. BTW, I've done it. I used a trunk release switch from a late 80's Caprice (it was located in the glove compartment).
