Got 25 good years out of the first one, but it's getting to be time for the replacement now, and I have a few bucks stashed away to do it.

I have a good friend who is great auto trimmer; just need to order the right top from the right source to get it as factory as possible.

As you can see from the sig, mine is an '87 with the black stayfast, white stitching.

I've been through the stickies, just want the most original looking top possible.

I went with a stayfast top but with a glass rear window instead of plastic. More interested in functional than factory. I got it on ebay from a guy with great prices and also the little spring loaded lines and other small parts. Also got the weatherstripping from him also at a great price.

 

topsonline.com should be able to get everything you need. I ordered mine off the site, but found that they do sell on ebay as well. The price is the same, but if buying off ebay they have free shipping which will save you almost $50.

topsonline is the way to go! They have several colors and different material too, I ordered the OE replacement type stayfast canvas, black with white stitching with the plastic window, pay the little extra dollars and get the glass window, you will be glad you did it!
