1987 Trans Am Vert
1987 Trans Am Vert
I am looking for some information about the 1987 Trans Am Convertible. I found one that is in pretty good shape and I was just wondering if anyone can give me some details or direct me to another thread that I may have missed with more information about them?
From what I have found and read there were only 170 of these made and I was also wondering how many of you have seen them out and around town?
Thanks!

Re: 1987 Trans Am Vert
Actually that was the other way around... From 1987 - 1989 you could get a convertible in any flavor, Firebird, Formula, Trans Am or GTA, whereas 1991 & 1992, all convertibles were either Trans Am or Base Formula.
