Ok heres the deal. We have a 91 Firebird vert that we are resurrecting over the winter. One of the (many) problems is the rear spoiler. All the post are gone and one of the previous owners used five screws ran through the spoiler and deck lid to hold it on. On top of that it is cracked/ busted along the rear of it. Finding a reasonably priced ASC spoiler was proving difficult. Turns out in storage I had an extra center section from a Camaro I had picked up about 10 years ago for my 90RS and never used. After a couple of measurements I thought to myself "this may just work". It is not quite as long front to back but matches up well in height and curves. Had to drill new mounting holes of course though. I think it will be quite passable once it is painted and the deck lid is repaired and repainted. We are not concerned with it not being original since the car is not being left stock, just with it looking good. What do you think, is it passable?
