While it is not my cup of tea if you are going to do something at least do it well. As fuzzy as the pics are it does look like he had the interior professionally done and the paint looks fresh. Just about the only things you would need to do are change the rims and fix whatever he raised it with to fit the rims.
In all honesty, the car is not as bad as it could be... Put some reasonable sized wheels on it, put it back to a stock stance, remove the decals... Honestly the interior looks ok, and it looks like it was nicely done, it is not way over the top, nothing that a little tweaking could not fix IE a Black dash pad...

John
I agree its not that bad someone could workout a deal let the owner keep the wheels pay less for car
I love how in the description it says (Highway Ready). I can imagine the wreaks started from people gawking at it going down the road. OMG look at that " Car ,Thingie" WTF Crash!!!
For the safety of everybody, this needs to stay off the road at night!
I don't know why you guys are freaking out. It's not my style, I wouldn't drive it like that, but it looks like he took his time and did a professional job. If everyone made sure that everything they did to there car made e ery one else happy all of our cars would look the same.

I don't think we're freaking out other than just knowing that the "typical" 3rd gen Camaro and Firebird is not to look that way.
Was it done professionally.......looks like it. Looks good in the owners eyes too.
"Tastefully Done" is key here.
Now.....if it were a Caprice Classic or a Bonneville or a Chevy Impala SS, sure.
I'm not freaking out lol. Those pics are way too blurry to make a judgment on whether it's been professionally built or not. Regardless the donk scene sucks, and this car was ruined by it.
Like I said, take off the stickers, the interior looks really good, and get some 17's or 18's (with the right side tires) and it would look good... IMHO...
Your right foz, I've seen some beautiful black convertible camaro's on this site. Mr. IROC-Z's camaro comes to mind... One of the best looking verts on this site.
That's crazy. I like thirdgen's both stock and modified - but this car has been taken to the extreme! If I had the cash to buy I'd restore it back to stock style appearance on the exterior and think about swapping in a 350 or LS motor. Those rims would be sold along with that interior. Nothing wrong with a modified car but, has to have good taste. I know taste is a subjective thing but, I feel sorry for this car.
"Nothing is wrong with the car" ...
.
1.it has a dent in the front driver side fender
2.the passenger side front tire has a slow leak .....(it goes down over night)
3.it has a stock 305 in it ...BUT THIS CAR IS FAST .....starts right up on cold or hot days
4.the engine runs better then the car looks
5.this car is not breaking down no time soon ....
6.($600 and some TLC this car will be back to tip top condition) ....
7.this car has had only three owners
I have never understood the "abnormally large wheels" people put on their "whips" These 3rd gens already ride like a lumber wagon. Can you imagine how it rides now? IMO, I think the owner did a fine job to what he/she thinks is cool. The interior musta cost some dough. Paint looks good. I agree with above, This car needs to be rescued, 17" put on it to get it back down, decals removed and I think it would be a sharp looking 3rd gen. The problem with customizing any automobile is its done how you want it. So when selling time comes, stuff as read above comes out. Are those led behind the wheels or does it need a brake job too?? lol jk.

WOW, sounds like a deal to me.
Sorry, lunch time boredom
$600 might cover the paint for the fender... not the work to repair the fender... Another $1000 would get normal size rims and tires on it instead of wagon wheels.
1. Did he put a sunroof in the vert top?
(EDIT: Or is that half a T-Top. L-Top?)
It looked like a piece of plastic or paper on the top... Not sure if it was a piece of garbage, or if it was there to keep the top from leaking. Either way this is a perfect example of how NOT to sell a car... Clean it up first, otherwise people do not take you serious.
