Re: Trans Am convertible wing pictures
THis is the car we were PMing about... So here I can post some pictures.
You are looking for pictures of the ASC Firbird/Trans Am convertibles from 1986-1989. There were technically 2 tops, the 86-88 and the 89+. The difference is the later top was slightly wider at the rear, about 1" but they should be interchangeable AFAIK. Only the 1992 could not be used, as they changed the mounting behind the doors for some reason for just that year.
The Tonneau and the trunk lids, back seat side trim are all the same for all cars AFAIK.
The early cars (87-91) used the plastic interior trim pieces of the coupe, and mid year (around July-SEP manufacture date in 1990 they changed that to use just material to cover over things. (probably to make them slightly lighter).
The Camaro used the same spoiler & caps from 86-92, The Firebird from 86-89 and then revised for 91-92
This is the cap for the 86-89

This is the rear spoiler & 3rd brake light housing

Obviously these pieces are in sets, the Camaro is type 1, the 86-89 Firebird is Type 2, and the Firebird 91-92 is type 3. You cannot mix the three..
Hope this helps
