My 91 Rs Convertible is going to be going up on Copart. It is a very solid car, 100k, very original, tired 305, redone Iroc wheels and newer tires, Z-28 blister hood, all new brakes and steering components, I have receipts. The bad, you'd have to pay next to nothing for because it was caught in the flooding we recently had. Insurance paid me off and I don't have the ambition to gut it and start over. Piece of cake, just put the top down, pop the drain plugs out of the floor pans, and hose it out with clean water for a few days. Let it dry, install a case of Black Ice little trees, change out everything with permanent water damage, good to go.

Bummer it got flooded. This part of the country doesn't have to worry about a lot of natural weather phenomenon but when the plains flood, they sure can do it big.

 

True enough, Drew. I always thought one of my sons would wreck it, that's the main reason it had full coverage, lol. I hope someone rescues the old girl, it's way too complete to part out. Hasn't been hacked up at all. Fuel pump was even done the right way, which wasn't cheap.

 

What a sad fate for one of our third gens, I hope she goes to a good home.
