New ‘89 Formula 350 vert

Ok, not exactly new. I’ve had it for a few months and posted on facebook a while back if any of you saw it, but I picked up a mostly clean Formula 350 vert. 8 out of 43 by the vin. Posting here too because I know how few of these there are around & some of you might be interested in where this one ended up.

I say mostly clean because while it runs good, it definitely has some character to it.

The good:
* Motor runs perfect
* Just under 89k miles
* No rust on the body or underneath

The bad:
* Large dent in the passenger’s side fender, but should be able to come out
* Needs a new top, the current one works for the most part but has multiple pinholes and the back window is bad
* Bogs down shifting into second gear. Possibly an electronic issue?

Overall very happy with it though, very few issues for a 36 year old car. Would love to hear from other Formula 350 vert owners if we have any here.

Thirdgen F bodies and 4th Gen Corvettes are some of the best looking convertibles IMHO. Nice score on a rare Formula. Lots of help and resources available on this site to assist. Congratulations!
