Over heatin, need a solution

ok, this topic has been beat to death, but hear goes. my car runs about 220 degress. as far as im concerned thats hot. My cooling system consited of a Stock Aluminum rad out of a 305 iroc, and the twin eletric fan set up. i have a stock water pump and 195 degre thermostate. im runnin all water and red line water wetter. i have a 400 that make some pretty good power, and what it to stay cool. please help

At what temp do the fans kick on? What temp do you want it to run? Does it run cooler down the highway? Is your guage accurate? If you desire less than 195(I would) you need a cooler thermostat. I would go with a 180 stat, make sure the fans are kicked on at around 185(may need a manual switch), and verify the timing is correct and you aren't running lean.

sorry, i have a manual swich and i want it to run at around 200 degrees in the hottest wheater.
