Car: 1984 trans am
Engine: 305 ho v8 stock
Transmission: 700r4
sensors over thermostat

hey guys i was wondering if any of the could tell what are the 2 (i believe them to be senors) over the housing for the thermostat where the main radiator hose goes. i have a 84 trans am 305 5.0L h.o. with the quadra jet carb. thanks in advance

do they have vacuum ports on them ? (should be 2 tubes each)
If so then I believe one is the Thermaval Vacuum Switch (TVS) for the EFE (early fuel evaporation) vacuum valve on the right exhaust manifold, and the other is the TVS for the canister purge valve (charcoal cannister) usually located behind the left headlights on V-8 engine cars.
That is what they are on my 1982 Z
