Cold chill'n!!!

Well on my 89 Formula 350 I am planning to replace my 195 degree thermostat with a 170 degree one. The heater core is getting the boot in favor of a new unit. The radiator is move'n out and an aluminum one is going in and I was thinking since I'm at it I'll just get new hoses as well.

Am I forgeting anything that might need attention as I was overheating sitting in traffic... no the A/C wasn't on if thats what you were thinking. The car is vertually stock except for the tranny and exhaust.

sounds like a good start, I would try what you stated and see where you are at then. The new stuff can't hurt anyway, the old parts are on there way out anyway. Make sure also that all fans are working right and you might want a after market fan switch that kicks on at lower temps. Make sure you air dam is in place also this helps direct air into engine compartment once you get moving.

ya i been to Anibelle's I use to work over on tyler on the other side of 615. My father owns a stamping shop i use to do tool and die for short run stamping. Its nice having a machine shop when i need it. I am very familer with the whole area east of mentor.

My 91 ta came from my father he bought it new in 90 and i road around in it even before i could drive. The car has alot of history with me. I dont think I will ever let it go unless I have to. Nice talking to a prev local.

If i remember right i think my father had around a 85 berlinetta
All i remember about the car was it was blue and had a weird radio on a round post and digital dash. It had a v8 also not sure what size though.

keep the third gen strong!
