403 trans am

I know it's not third gen related but i'll try anyway.
Does anybody know what the correct temperature for a (78 403
trans am) to run at is.
It's drinking heaps of fuel.It is running rich but i think it is also running too cool never goes over 160degrees even in the heaviest traffic.
Thanks

Jeff

Thanks Craig
I'll set it around 180 and see how it goes.
Cheers.
