4 corner water outlets?

This is unrelated to my T/A but it is for my vette so it is important to me...and you guys have always been helpfull.

I am putting an aftermarket manifold on the vette to mate with the Vortec heads and it has water outlets on all four corners. A racer friend of mine told me to connect the rear ones together with braided hose, and on the stock manifold the front right one goes to the heater. What am I to do with the left one? Plug it? or connect that one to the right side with a "t" so it can still go to the heater? or do I have this all wrong to begin with. Thanks

i drilled and tapped my own rear passages on the rear of my old manifold and used some high pressure hydraulic line to conect them together. i don't have a heater so they were both plugged, but yes you should plug the one you don't use
