Corvette radiator??

Does any know if you need a new water pump to use a 87 TPI Vette radiator on a 85 TA 4BBL? The lower hose is smaller than what I have. I noticed that those Vette engines have their own water pumps and was wondering if those pumps will fit an 85 5.0
