cooling fan sensor

need help! I have a 86 firebird with a 350 engine.... The fan as factory set doesnt come on to about 220...... I purchased a jrt switch which comes on at 200 ... THis starts the problem I have reviewed the posts about the location ,between 6@8 plugs etc. and I cant find it..... Yes i looked at the wonderful pictures on the posts but its not there.... The anti knock sensor is down below but nothing else on this side....... Please not that this probably not an original motor but it is a 350... ANY IDEALS .. also one of the thermostat bolts is froze and i cant move it ... I dont want to take off the tpti intake to get better leverage... Any advice would be appreciated........
