Sounds like since u only have 1 electric fan, that fan would most likely be controlled through the computer. The computer uses a temp sensor that tells the temp and the computer turns the fan on when the temp is right. To make that come on earlier u need to get a custom chip or just wire a switch into your fan and you can controlled it whenever you want it on or off.

I would also run a search for more help here on the boards.

It sounds some somebody just swapped motors from a 305 tpi to a 350 tpi and left the factory cooling for the 305 tpi. Meaning that you are missing one electric fan. See from the factory most of the 305 tpi came with only 1 fan that worked off a temp sensor and computer with a relay. But now you have a 350 tpi and they came with dual fans, the drivers one worked off the computer and the passengers one worked off the fan switch which you bought and a/c pressure switch. It sounds like someone did a hack job and did not finish the job and just put some kinda corck in the hole where the fan switch should go to.

Meaning you should just ground the relay for the fan to make it run all the time when the engine is running, or just hook up a switch to the relay.
