Fan question that I have not seen on the boards
I riged my fans to come on at the same time, will this hurt my motor at all? I mean, it runs very cool at starting speeds, till I drive around town for like 45 mins then it gets hot, like 210-230. Will running both fans all the time hurt the motor in the winter? If my car gets 220 without ac, will turning on ac make it even hotter!? I guess I'll get a new water pump from stuawart, see if that will help.

Running both fans will not hurt the engine, but it places a lot of stress on the charging system. Usually any car will run hotter with the AC on as the compressor places additional load on the engine. Before spending any money check the rad for debris, look inside to see if it looks clean and check coolant condition. Depending on where you live and what average temps you see you may want to alter the coolant mix. A higher water percentage may help it to run cooler since the water and not the coolant transfers the most heat. Coolant acts to raise the boiling point of the water and also acts as a wetting agent. I am running a zz-4 block with everything else stock. Here in eastern PA it's been hot, and my TG with AC on in normal driving is running about halfway between the 220 and the first line on the guage. I replaced everything, rad, all hoses etc. I am running 70/30 Dexcool mix. A high flow pump helps, but start with a clean cooling system. Instead of running both fans constantly you may look into a lower temp fan switch. You can also drop to a 180 stat if your area is predominately hot.
