BE COOL, Aluminum Radiators
Anyone using one of these aluminum radiators? I am thinking of replacing mine with one after i replace my core support for the car.
My car has always run nice and cool, just thought I'd help her out some more since I am adding power adders on the buildup.

Hey!
I've got a Be Cool radiator in my '84 Trans Am. I just got the new 350 (Holley Systemax II system with aluminum heads
) and 6 speed in, I haven't driven it on the road yet, but I really like the finish of the Be Cool radiator. It seems to be really well built, and it's not very difficult to install. There are a few minor things I had to do, such as slightly modify the adapter bracket that Be Cool provided for my car, and use some spacers to hold the bottom of the electric fan away from the rad. right now my new motor is running really hot, and I've only put about 10 minutes on it, so I really can't say how well the Be Cool works, but I think it will be far superior to a stock setup, and I really like the looks of it in my engine compartment

I saw in a magazine a place that sells Be Cool radiators for $139. I am pretty positive that these are just aluminum stock versions, instead of thier $540 automatic radiator they sell in Summit. I haven't checked out thier website yet, but it is www.musclechevy.com.

I have one in my car. I bought it off ebay for $175.00
Like quadgoat said installation is a snap, Two fan spacers 1/4" - 3/8" were all I needed.
The ol 305 has never run cooler. Never leaves 160 on highway & will very slowly creep up to 200 or so in very heavy traffic. If I turn the fan switch on, it quickly cools right down.
I would recommend them, it's well built, works great, and looks cool as hell.
