hi..........i'm not the worlds best mechanic, but i have a question i desperatly need answered, as i have to drive this car to the trans am nationals in dayton ohio in a few days.........
anyway heres the problem....i drove the car around town all day and then when i came home, with the engine already warm, i poped the hood ( directly after i shut it off) when i shut the car off and the top radiator hose was hard as a rock, and warm to the touch......now the car didnt overheat all day while doing in-town stop and go driving.....is this normal for the top hose to be hard??>....help please

where were u squeezing it at?? they will usualy be able to be squeezed even when the thermostat is open. is it just a regular black radiator hose?? is it any different when its cold?? thats kinda weird for it to be ROCK hard..
