Tell me if this is a fan switch?
I went to pick a part today and got a couple of fans to replace my mechanical fan. I pulled these to "things" off a buick. Is one off them a fan ground switch that runs the relay. I plan on running both fans off one temp switch, with a toggle shut off when I race. But any way is one of these what I want?

I got it figured, The two wire is an RTD (resistive thermal device). The one wire is infact a temp switch.

What temp.
About what temp did you want the fan(s) to come on? Hypertech makes to different temp switches. 176 on,166 off(part#4026) and 200on,185off(part#4028). They run about 44$ if you want to spend the $.

Yeah, I got the stock switch working but no go till 230, so went and got the Jet 195 on 180 off. Works great with my 160 stat, beacuse on the hiway the fans never come on. Loosing the 20lb fat metal fan and going electric was one of the best mods I've ever done, gained another 200 - 300 rpm reving top end. Now she climbs hard to 6700, but I usaully dont push it past 6000.
