Interior Overheating??
OK my car runs at normal temps I dont have problem with overheating, in fact Monday I am installing a new radiator, super duty thermo and flushing everything. But I wondered if anyone else had a problem with how hot the inside of their car gets when you drive down the road. I know every car is supposed to have some air always comming into it from the vents, but not until my camaro has it actually been a MAJOR issue.
I will be running at 195 regular engine temps and driving 45 down the road and even though its say 90 outside I feel hotter air flowing on my feet. But its not just the outside temps, even at night when its cool out my car keeps breathing hot air down onto the floor on both driver and passenger side. My heater is off, fan is off, WHY is this happening, and any suggestions on a solution?

It could be the valve/door that directs air from your A/C and heater core is stuck open on the heater core side or the seal is worn . Allowing the outside air to pass through the heater core before entering the interior.
or
Are you by chance missing or removed the rubber seal that seals the hood to the top of the firewall? If so, it could be the that heat is being extracted from the engine compartment and entering the interior air intake just under the wiper arms.

I am not sure about the seal on the rear of the hood I will check that out today, but as far as the grill work that covers the vents there under the wipers, mine is all bent up and screwed up anyone know the part numbers for those pieces?
But thanks for the advice I will check out the two points you mentioned.

There is a valve that is in the hose going to the heater core. When you shut the heat off, the valve is supposed to close to prevent the heater core from remaining hot. If that valve is stuck open or missing, then the heater core will always be hot. This will cause hot air to always enter the car.
