my car seems to always run 220+ and the fan doesnt kick in till 240 degrees.....the radiator seems clean, just gonna get it flushed for safty, but maybe the water pump....i dunno what do u guys think?

 

well it seems you need to make your fan come on earlier, either buy a new fan switch or wire a new switch into the relay..

when does it run hot? in traffic or highway..

a good flush could not hurt, when was the last time you replaced the radiator/cap, thermostat? the water pump usually when going bad will leak coolant out of the weep hole on the bottom of it..
