radiator question

I just bought a 3 core radiator from radiatorbarn.com for my 91 rs and this has a sensor thing on the right side of the tank with a male spade connector on it. Does anyone know what this is? Is it a temp sensor perhaps? THanks

he's right. it's a low coolant probe for many models which incorporate a low coolant warning light. GMSPO as well as many aftermarket suppliers issue the one with a probe for all replacements.
