Ditto on the temp. Most auto parts stores stock Stant stats. Stant is the OE supplier to GM so really it's the same part. Stant has a slightly better grade stat, a few more bucks. I just use the standard one since I replace it about every 2 years anyway when I service the cooling system.

As I live in the Netherlands with no Pep Boys,Autozone or what soever,I can only get original GM parts at one of the few GM dealers overhere.
So I need the GM part number for a 180 degree thermostat for my '88 Firebird 350, and order it here.
Anyone who can find it for me?
Thanks!!

Stant makes good stats.
I run a 180 degree stat in my car with two bypass holes drilled. (3 holes would not let the car warm up in winter. Anybody want a free 180 Robertshaw stat with 3 holes?). My stat is one of those "hi-flow" Robertshaw units. Actually relabelled as Mr. Gasket.
