Ok, I live somewhat in the south, and temps are starting to rise. While driving down the road, 80'ish outside, no ac on, the car runs about 210-220 degrees. Thats w/o sitting in congested traffic. This town can get conjested, and I plan on fixing the ac soon also. Creating more load on this system.

Now, before it gets to hot outside, im going to swap back to a 185 t-stat. Thats what I had in it last summer, wasnt getting enough heat for winter, in went to 195. Now I gonna have to go back to 185.

When my single fan kicks in, it appears to be running really slow. I can almost watch my blades spin, and keep track of one.

How fast should this be spinning??

If possible, can I install dual fans ontop my v6 radiator, and keep myself from having to swap t-stats every damn season??

I would like to know this before I drop 100-150 on the dual setup, and find it wont work due to some piddly crap.

Cheap Dual Fan Upgrade

Tomorrow I will be adapting a set of dual electric fans from a buick lesabre (numerous fwd buick, olds with 3800 should work) to my bird (these setups can be obtained very inexpensively and easily from a salvage yard, ie u-wrench-it). I have a feeling that they will go in with relative ease... I'll let you know how it turns out...
