Air Dam?

I have a 91 RS That is running around 220-230 all the time with my new 350. It has never had the air-dam under it that I see alot of other camaros have. Do I need it or did this model even have them? Thanks,

Kevin

Yes,you need it, and it did have one. It helps at highway speeds only.

I agree with ^, you need the air damn. That temp is too hot. Not to mention your fans should be on at that point to cool you down a little. The Air Dam is cheap, and helps you ANYTIME the car is moving, yes it's more predominent at highway speeds, but my 350 wont overheat aslong as I'm moving about 10-15mph+

Do you have air conditioning?

What is your timing set at?

How new is the 350? could the coolant have air in it still?

Hows the thermostats condition?

There can be more factors than just the air damn.
