air intake questions...

I'm planning on adding a dual snorkel or ram air system to my '82 Trans Am. I'm just wondering if doing this will have any affect on the air/fuel ration tuning?

I no this may seem like a stupid question (and it probally is), but it just seemed to me that in a ram air system, more air would be forced into the carb than while tuning it at idle. Any ideas?

I really don't know much about the ram air set ups, other than my wifes' '02 T/A has it.

I did replace my single snorkel air cleaner with one from a 305 HO. I did not have to make any adjustments as the rest of the motor was factory. I think it is more cool air that helps the motor.

I 'm not going to worry about it. As far as I can figure it, tuning with the air cleaner off at idle would offset driving with air forced through the filter.
