I have a 92 RS its a 305TBI and pretty much stock....for now at least. I just bought the car a lil over a month and a half ago and installed an open element intake at the sametime. The car runs great but starting like a day or too ago the temp gauge is high. Normally the temp will not go higher than 200 and thats when I've been driving for like an hour and sitting in traffice for another hour. For some reason now the temp guage raises a lot faster and actually operates about 230. WHen I'm sitting in traffic it gets to about 240 and when i start moving it will slowly drop to about 230 again. Now i live just outside of chicago and the winters are cold and the summers are pretty hot...like today was 72 already. What can i do to fix this temp prob? I was thinking about going to cooler stat but i don't know what else i would have to change besides that? Any help would be greatly apprieciated...Thanks
