car heating up at speed
Especially when it is hotter outside the car likes to get warm going down the highway. Around 210. What mods has anyone done to keep it down? I know I need a new airdamn. Mine is about 1'' shorter than it should be. Has anyone tried the BE COOL or 40 BELOW stuff??
Thanks
Chris

Well, 210 is below the normal temp for the fan to come on (single fan). Mine did that regularly, 220-170, 220-170 etc.. at highway speeds, until I put the airdam back on. (Oversize home made from checkerplate). I also ran a manual fan switch for heavy town work, just to keep my stress levels down, tho' the car works perfectly in stock.

Yea. airdamn is first on my list. What else? Also I took out all the plastic in front of the radiator and took off the AC.

I have a 355 with AFR heads, blah blah blah
. It stays cool with the fans, nut i think you should not need the fam\ns once it gets up to a certain speed.
