hello fellow 3rd gen heads! could i run an 180* stat with a few small drilled holes ,with a 160*>on< coolant fan switch from hypertech? this combo work? thnx-brad 90 formula ws6, 336cu. in TBI. ect ,ect ,ect....just like the blue 1 above-BABY!

Depends on the amount and size of the holes. Drilling holes lowers the temp of the engine. If the temp with the stat is still above 160 with a 160 "on" fan switch the fans will never shut off. Thats way too cold anyway. A 180 stat, no holes and a fan sw that kicks on at about 205 would be a better way to go.
