Problems after changing radiator

The other day, my radiator sprung a big leak. I got a new 2 row radiator from Radiator Barn. It went in with no problem and took me 30 minutes tops. Now I have a problem...either the temperature gauge is malfunctioning, or my temperature gauge not malfunctioning and is pegging out to the right over 260* after a drive around the block. Has anyone else had this problem? Do I need to reset or adjust something?

Problem solved, guys. The most amazing thing happened...I opened the radiator, filled the radiator the rest of the way, and BAM!..it works! :lala:
