Pic needed of an airdam

I dont know if I need an airdam or not. I own an 86 trans am and noticed this plastic guard thats near my radiator. It looks like someone trimmed it off or something. I dont know if its suppose to look like this or what. Thats why I need a pic to see what it looks like so I know if I need to replace mine or not. Thanks.

Willie's car. an air dam is good to use so you can get some air flow to the radiator on the highway.
