cooling a 400 block+040

i am down in australia,,it gets hot,,in summer,,much like arizona,,and the traffic gets bad,,
i have just had a fresh 400+0.40 built for my 82 camaro,,with an automatic transmition,,,,that is not running a computer,to control fans or other devices,,associated with cooling, and the factory clutch fan was taken off,,and will not be used,,
i am using a larger 16 inch diameter fixed blade stainless steel fan with bigger wider blades,,,,,,that works all the time,,much like the earlier cars,,did in the 60,s
problem is ,,i need to get a better flowing radiator,,as the radiator that was in the car ,,,running the old 305,,is only 2 row,, and looks to be in not real good condition,,
now the 400 block has siamesed cylinders,,,,,,,,,,,
they do run a little hotter
and @ 0.40 over size ,,there isn,t a lot of metal left between the centre cylinders,,, do you guys run 4 row radiators,,and if so,, where can i get one,,,,,,as soon as possible shipped here
OTHER question
should the transmition oil be kept away from the water radiator,,and be run through a seperate cooler,,, and should a thermostat be used,,and what temp,,i want to get the engine fired up and run the cam in this weekend,,,i think my old radiator will be ok to handle that job,,,for at least 1 hour,,,,,i have to get this thing fired up this weekend and get the hood back on,,,at least ,,,,,get the hood back on,,,,,due to the car sitting in the rain,,with no hood and engine in the shed,,,waiting,,to go in::

Not sure on your exact needs for the 400 in your climate, but a lot of guys here seem to like the Griffin rads.

http://griffinrad.com/

Give them a call I'm sure they can recommend a rad for you and probably ship it ASAP.

Summit also sells their rads...maybe even cheaper.
