Cooling. of course
My 92 R/S has cooling problems in traffic with the temp over about 92. I thought I had cured them but no. It's Ok going down the highway or even in town with the air off. It's get to 220 around town with the air on and and wants to go higher. I get nervous and the engine runs a little rough.
What I've already done:
Dual stock fan set up with early turn on thermos. Flushed radiator, looks good inside. 50/50 prestone. Air dam etc. seem to be in place. Cleaned out the bird nest between the radiator and condensor. Timing is set to factory zero. Vehicle is in very good operating condition.
I know this subject gets beat to death. maybe I just need a bigger radiator? my alternator doesn't do a real good job at idle. Were there amp options on replacement alt.?
Thanks for any input, great site.

update
My searches seem to indicate I've done all the usuall fixes. I looked at the lower hose and it does not have a spring in it. I'll check it when I get it warm but it seems that would cause problems at higher rpm.
