Well, I just converted my A/C over to 134a. My comp. hatched so I bought a rebuilt (AeroAir), an accumulator and an expanision valve and had a shop install everything. The cost (P&L) was $315.54.
Air vent temps at 60mph (2000rpm) were 40* so I am satified so far. I hope that rebuilt comp. holds up. I herd that them R-4 comp. are not very good. I only drive my car in the summer so I hope the A/C system lasts another 20 years.
