Side fan shroud
Hi, I noticed recently on my 92 RS with single fan that there was no seal around the electrice fan other than the top shroud that fits over the radiator. I figured the fan was relatively useless with a 2" gap around 70 % so I cut 2 cardboard strips 2" by 12", taped them up with duct tape and formed them to fit around both sides of the fan. Now I have a more complete shroud and the fan actually pulls air through the radiator instead of just between the fan and radiator. Anyway, I was wondering if the stock setup has the gaps or if at some point I lost some pieces. Thanks.

My single fan setup had no shroud, either. But I found someone on E-Bay selling those parts, and got them cheap. All of the mounting holes were in the car. Why they left them out, I don't know. But to help my problem, I installed them.
