to dual or not to dual

i put a 1985 z28 radiator in to my 92 rs the 85 i got the radiator out of had 2 fans and the radiator is the one that is all metal... the one in mine was part plastic and alot thinner. i bought one of thje hayden electric fans but i don't think it draws enough air at idle because it overheats when in traffick, i have already changed everything else so it must be the fan???
a friend of mine gave me an extra set of dual fans out of a 90 model. should i intall these???
thanks

The metal rad is probably the 3 row version?

If so, I vote dual!
